We are having a grand time at Camp Lookout so far this week. We arrived on Monday, breaking into work & bible study teams then did initiative games helping everyone get to know each other. Capped the night off with worship music by Purrington.

First day of work had our group feeding the homeless, sorting and setting up food boxes for families, working with the widows harvest ministry mowing & trimming lawns, and a number of projects around the camp property. In the afternoon folks got involved in various activities around camp. We had a number of our team caving & on the high ropes. Others were at crafts, paddling, and climbing wall. We ended the evening with worship & bible study and then off to bed for a next day.

yes it was a crazy snowy time that weekend, but we were able to stay quite Warm at Warmth in Winter. our group was small by some of our standards, but it was one of the most gelled groups in years. Everyone did great, being where they needed to be, and no incidents to speak of.. or that I am aware of. Check out our PhotoSet from Warmth in Winter 2010.

After just a nuts day of weather apocalypse we made the trek down from Hendersonville to Murfreesboro for Warmth in Winter. We made it just in time for the start of the 1st session. Photos are a powerful narrative of what we are doing in ministry & I know family members like to look at and share them. This allows you to email links or such of photos to your own friends and family, but to download and take into possession an image is protected.
