It is that time of the year that all of you graduating seniors are applying for universities across the country. Don’t forget to apply for some of the scholarship opportunities out there as a United Methodist and part of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. University is can be really tough to pay for these days, give yourself as many options as possible by putting yourself out there for scholarship considerations.
The United Methodist Church has a number of scholarships for those who are members of the church. You don’t have to be going into the ministry or anything like that. Some give more money for going to Methodist Universities, but that isn’t a pre-requisette. Visit the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation list of scholarships to apply for which one fits your needs.
